Chris Sawyer Testifies Before the Committe on Ways and Means of the United States House of Representatives

Chris Sawyer testified before the Subcommittee on Select Revenue Measures of the Committee on Ways and Means of the United States House of Representatives on April 30, 2002 concerning a Bill (House Resolution 882) written by Chris Sawyer and Jack Sawyer working with our client West Hill Foundation for Nature. When enacted, the Bill will provide $25 billion in transferable tax credits for the acquisition of conservation easements, which will substantially change land use and conservation practices in this country. Chris' testimony, and that of Representative Johnny Isakson, the sponsor of the Bill, was very favorably received by Members of the Subcommittee.
