L Magazine has announced the results of its 2002 Summer Associates Survey and ranks Alston & Bird 7th nationally, 1st in Atlanta, and 2nd in Washington, D.C. The firm also ranks 23rd for most prestigious firms. L is The American Lawyer's magazine for law students.
Per the magazine, "Scores are based on nine key areas relating to [the summer associates’] internships, including the orientation, overall experience and atmosphere, interest level of the work, training and guidance, treatment by partners and associates, how the firm rated generally as a place to work, and their inclination to accept a job if one were offered."
