John Hickman was quoted in a Politico article discussing the effect of the healthcare reform law on flexible spending accounts (FSAs). He noted wide dissatisfaction with the law’s ban on using FSAs for over-the-counter medications. “There are a lot of people who are frustrated and it’s going to be a matter of channeling that dissatisfaction through the congressional offices,” said Hickman. “That’ll take a bit of time. But the Republicans in the House know it, they heard it, and it was part of the reason they were elected.”
