Mustafa Almusawi is an associate in Alston & Bird’s Investment Funds Group.  Mustafa advises registered investment companies, investment advisers, fund boards and their trustees on the intricate governance requirements under the Investment Company Act of 1940, the Investment Advisers Act of 1940, and other federal securities laws.

Mustafa represents several of the largest business development company fund sponsors and advises on a broad range of matters, including fund formation, private placements, mergers and acquisitions, securities regulation, securities law compliance, and corporate governance matters.
