Andrea Cooper advises financial institutions, merchants, money services businesses, fintech companies, and other payments systems clients on a wide range of transactional and regulatory matters. She also represents public and private companies in the financial services industry in regulatory, corporate governance, and SEC reporting matters.
Before joining Alston & Bird, Andrea worked as an intelligence and research intern for the U.S. Department of State. During internships with an investment management firm and an auto finance company, she focused on data privacy and security issues.
