Stephanie Cristiano is a registered patent agent with experience filing and prosecuting patent applications before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Stephanie’s experience includes the preparation and prosecution of patent applications relating to software in the areas of user interfaces, business methods, mobile applications, distributed systems and device control.

Prior to becoming a patent agent, Stephanie worked as a software developer in both the financial and manufacturing industries. She has experience in several phases of the software development life cycle, including requirements, implementation, testing and production support, as well as Agile development methodologies. Stephanie’s development experience spans both the user interface and business logic layers of a multitier architecture.

Stephanie has a B.S. in computer science from Virginia Tech and an M.S. in software information systems from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
