S. Blake Davis

• Represented a Fortune 5 health care company and pharmacy benefit manager in complex multidistrict litigation.
• Represented a Virginia inmate in a federal appeal of civil procedure issue of first impression before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, successfully arguing the case and securing a reversal.

Blake Davis focuses his practice on handling commercial litigation matters. Before joining the firm, Blake served as a judicial law clerk for the Hon. Robert J. Luck of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit and the Hon. Allen C. Winsor of the Northern District of Florida.

Blake earned his J.D., magna cum laude, from the Wake Forest University School of Law, where he was honored as a member of the Order of the Coif and served as editor in chief of the Wake Forest Law Review. As part of the Wake Forest Appellate Advocacy Clinic, Blake successfully briefed and argued a case before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, addressing a civil procedure issue of first impression in a federal civil rights suit on behalf of a Virginia inmate and securing a published decision in favor of his client. During law school, he also served as president of the Federalist Society chapter and as a judicial intern for the Hon. Paul M. Newby of the Supreme Court of North Carolina. Blake earned his B.S. in history, summa cum laude, from Liberty University.
