Erin Edwards is an associate in Alston & Bird’s Litigation & Trial Practice Group. She represents clients in high-stakes litigation throughout the country in both state and federal courts. Her clients include companies in a variety of industries, including health care, financial services, food and beverage, and insurance.
Erin focuses her practice in commercial and class action litigation. Her experience includes drafting dispositive motions, taking depositions, working with experts, and overseeing document productions. She has defended data privacy class actions under the Drivers Privacy Protection Act, the California Medical Information Act, and relevant state laws. Erin also represents clients in multidistrict class action litigation.
Before joining the firm, Erin clerked for the Hon. Julia S. Gibbons of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. During law school at the University of Virginia, Erin served as managing editor of the Virginia Law Review, was selected as a legal writing fellow, and was inducted into the Order of the Coif.
