Angela Grate represents corporate borrowers, sponsors, banks, and other lending institutions in both syndicated and single-lender secured financing transactions. She also has experience working on debt financing transactions involving acquisitions, C&G, and restaurant franchising. Angela has advised borrowers on bridge loans, balance sheet loans, and mezzanine loans.
Angela earned her J.D. from Emory University School of Law, with honors, where she was the “Outstanding Notes & Comments Editor” for her contributions to the Emory Law Journal. She received two B.A. degrees in economics - political science and English literature from Capital University, summa cum laude, and was awarded “Student of the Year.” Before joining the legal field, Angela worked as a business analyst and served in internships and externships in Washington, D.C., and Atlanta, through The Washington Center, the U.S. Department of Labor, a medical legal partnership created to advance the health of low-income children and their families, an immigration non-profit, and the Georgia Court of Appeals.
