Brianna Kadjo of Alston & Bird was a featured speaker in the program titled “411: Top Legal Cyber preparedness and Privacy Compliance Tips for California Lawyers in 2016.” Accompanied by Jay Ward, the group discussed (a) what privacy and cyber threats might affect your business (b) mitigation techniques; (c) best practices for vendor management as it relates to privacy and cybersecurity; and (d) best practices for privacy and cyber-preparedness.

The issues of Privacy & Cybersecurity have become increasingly prevalent in today’s fast-moving dynamic technological and business environment. In an era where data security breaches are featured in the mainstream on nearly a daily basis, and class action lawsuits abound it is increasingly important for companies to ensure that they are aware of the threat landscape and are prepared for any security issues that might arise.
