Alston & Bird’s Health & Welfare Benefits Practice hosted this program on May 5, 2016. We discused new FAQ 31 issued by the Department of Labor. FAQ 31 addresses a number of the ACA’s health insurance reforms, including preventive care services, emergency care, cost sharing limitations and rescissions. The FAQ also addresses the application of the Mental Health Parity and Addiction Equity Act on nonquantitative treatment limitations.
John Hickman, Ashley Gillihan, Steven Mindy, Dan Taylor, Meredith Gage and Stacy Clark were featured speakers during the program.
