Alston & Bird will host the next Labor & Employment Executive Breakfast on Wednesday, April 25, 2018. As incidents of violence continue to occur in workplaces across the country, employers are confronted with the challenge of promoting and maintaining a work environment that is safe from violence, threats, and harassment. We will discuss strategies for preventing workplace violence, policy and training best practices, and the legal requirements and concerns that underlie these issues. We will also discuss best practices in the context of managing a workplace crisis in the unfortunate event that one does occur.
