Todd Benoff will be speaking at the breakout session “An AV Crash Occurs: What Happens Next?” at the 2018 Automated Vehicles Symposium sponsored by the Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International (AUVSI).
The session will be split into two sections, and Todd will be a member of the panel for “Section 1: Cybersecurity – What happens when AVs are hacked?” In this session, panelists from a cross-section of interested parties – insurers, plaintiff and defense lawyers, law enforcement, and regulators – will discuss implications surrounding future software bugs, vulnerabilities, and updates to AVs and how liability will be assessed when a crash occurs.
