His session was titled “New Tax Laws – Businesses.” Taxes impact everyone – individuals and businesses.  On the business side, the recent changes to the federal tax law can have a major impact on your clients or current/future lawsuits.  Join us for a discussion of the changes in the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act that directly impact your clients - businesses and business owners.  Changes to be discussed include corporate tax rates, qualified business income (QBI, especially important for privately held business owners), deductions, repatriation of profits, taxation of foreign partners upon the sale of domestic partnership interests, and Global Low Tax Intangible Income.
