Todd Benoff will be speaking on the panel “Privacy and Cybersecurity” at the ADAS & AV Legal Issues & Liabilities World Congress. This panel will discuss existing regulations and regulatory guidelines, common challenges, industry voluntary guidelines, and federal legislation.
The ADAS & AV Legal Issues & Liabilities World Congress will focus exclusively on the differing legal issues brought about by different levels of autonomy. There are still no universal rules or regulations autonomous vehicles (AV) can operate in, and the potential legal issues surrounding AVs are undefined. Meanwhile, recent safety incidents involving advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) continue to place the technology under intense legal scrutiny.
