• Lead trial counsel for a leading medical products sterilization company in hundreds of cases across multiple jurisdictions claiming injuries or property devaluations from alleged exposure to ethylene oxide emissions.
• Lead trial counsel for a leading medical products sterilization company against a public nuisance lawsuit brought by the New Mexico attorney general involving ethylene oxide emissions. Obtained a partial summary judgment on most of the attorney general’s claims (including the attorney general’s principal damages claims) and continuing to litigate the attorney general’s limited remaining claims.
• Lead counsel for a leading medical products sterilization company in an action against the Cobb County Board of Tax Assessors, claiming that its 10% devaluation of approximately 6,000 properties within a two-mile radius of its facility was arbitrary and violated Georgia’s tax laws, resulting in the board’s removal of the devaluation for the following year.
• Obtained a favorable jury verdict for a client defending nuisance and strict liability claims in connection with soil and groundwater contaminated with perchloroethylene (PCE).
• Defended clients in several jury trials alleging personal injuries caused by benzene from industrial operations and solvents.
• Obtained summary judgment on hundreds of coordinated toxic tort claims alleging personal injuries from exposure to aerospace chemicals.

• Lead counsel for a national building products company in mass tort litigation involving more than 1,300 plaintiffs in nine lawsuits alleging personal injuries caused by air and surface-water emissions (dioxin) from a former wood treatment site.
