Wim Nauwelaerts, Scott Pivnick, and Shaleen Patel will dive into some of the intellectual property and data privacy/product liability challenges surrounding the use of artificial intelligence. The current guidelines, roles and risks of AI will be discussed, along with looking at where we are and where we are going when it comes to the legality of AI applications in everyday life. The presentation will also touch on the similarities and differences in U.S. and EU regulations as they each try to navigate an appropriate approach to this technology.
