Bill Anaya was quoted in a Law360 article discussing how the U.S. Senate’s confirmation of Senator John Kerry as secretary of state might be a sign that the Obama administration may be poised to take a more active role in cross-border efforts on climate policy.
“Sen. Kerry is a leading voice and expert on energy policy and one of the principal movers of some of the more salient environmental proposals,” Anaya said.
“He’s got a level of international gravitas that will certainly make him a potent international force on energy and in the environmental conservation space.”
