Alston & Bird has been highlighted by Crain’s New York Business as one of the best places to work in New York City.
Among the companies selected for the magazine’s annual “100 Best Places to Work” feature, Alston & Bird is one of only five AmLaw 100 law firms to earn a spot on the list and one of only two firms to appear on both Crain’s list and Fortune’s list of the 100 best companies to work for.
Crain’s noted that while the 100 companies represent a broad range of industries, all share a common attribute: “a profound commitment to their workers' happiness…”
“These companies have gone the distance in creating an atmosphere of collegiality, collaboration and caring, whether assigning a mentor to ease each new hire's transition into the fold, offering paid time off for volunteer work, [or] empowering employees to turn their ideas into projects.…”
Winners were chosen based on the results of a weighted survey of both employees and employers, conducted by Crain's in partnership with Best Companies Group. It is the eighth consecutive year Crain's has conducted the survey.
