Convenience Distribution Association Engages Alston & Bird for Government Affairs

The Convenience Distribution Association (CDA) has engaged Alston & Bird Senior Policy Advisor Shannon Campagna for government relations counsel and stakeholder outreach.

A veteran government and public policy professional with more than 25 years of experience, Campagna joined Alston & Bird’s Legislative & Public Policy Group in January 2017. She previously served as the director of federal government affairs for Mars, Incorporated, building on a successful career in public policy that included positions with Safeway, Inc., Retail Industry Leaders Association and National Beer Wholesalers Association. She began her career in the office of Rep. Mel Hancock (R-MO), a member of the House Ways and Means Committee.

CDA is a trade organization for convenience products distributors in the United States, including convenience product manufacturers, brokers, retailers, and suppliers. CDA provides its members with advocacy on legislative and regulatory issues, business education programs, and initiatives on issues such as category management, food safety, and logistics.
