Alston & Bird will receive Texas Appleseed’s 2025 Pro Bono Leadership Award on November 4 at the nonprofit’s Good Apple Dinner. The award will be given in recognition of the firm’s efforts in furthering the group’s mission to bring about policies that are fair, just, and equitable for all Texans. In announcing the award, Texas Appleseed highlighted Alston & Bird attorneys’ contributions to urgent projects involving the Texas Juvenile Justice Department’s nondisclosure of mental health service data, safeguarding a law school access program, and advising on data privacy matters.
Alston & Bird’s volunteers work for systemic change in the legal system and for meaningful change in individuals’ lives. Our attorneys have both a local and global impact through the boards they serve on, the clients to whom they donate time, and the grants the firm awards.
