California Attorney General Xavier Becerra has released updated regulations to the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) that contain a number of material modifications to the initial CCPA regulations released in October 2019. Alston & Bird has compiled a privacy briefing summarizing the key modifications that have been introduced. Specifically, the modifications address issues of key importance to companies, including notices, consumer requests, do-not-sell rules, and data-mediated financial incentives.
