• Represented an American multinational automobile manufacturer in multiple inter partes review proceedings and Federal Circuit appeals relating to fuel management systems. Ford Motor Company v. • Represented a multinational telecommunications company in litigation involving routers and switches. Smart Path Connections, LLC v. Nokia Corporation, No. 2:22-cv-00296 (E.D. Tex.).
• Represented a global technology corporation as the defendant and counter-plaintiff in a declaratory judgment patent infringement suit relating to voice recognition and processing systems. Voxware, Inc. v. Vocollect, et al., No. 1:23-cv-00052 (D. Del.).
• Represented a telecommunications infrastructure company in litigation involving DSL technologies. Obtained a favorable trial verdict. TQ Delta v. CommScope, No. 2:21-cv-310 (E.D. Tex.).

Erin Beaton represents clients in complex patent disputes in venues such as the Eastern and Western Districts of Texas, the District of Delaware, and the Northern District of California, as well as the International Trade Commission and the Federal Circuit. Erin has played key roles in high-stakes matters involving 4G and 5G standards, networking, semiconductors, automotive systems, medical devices, and advanced materials.

Erin received her Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from the Boston University School of Law where she served as the online editor for the Boston University Law Review. Erin was a Paul J. Liacos Scholar, and she received the Fricklas and Astion Prize in Intellectual Property and Entertainment Law. Erin complemented her legal education with an externship at a Fortune 100 company where she gained experience managing and enforcing standard-essential patent portfolios globally. Erin completed her B.S. in mechanical engineering and B.S. in applied mathematics at North Carolina State University.
