Madison Berry is a health care policy advisor in Alston & Bird’s Washington, D.C. office. Maddie tracks potential legislative and regulatory changes to the health care industry on the federal level, prepares advocacy materials, and advises clients on policies that affect their business.
Before joining Alston & Bird, she worked for a global strategy firm, conducting policy and regulatory research on Medicaid, CHIP, Medicare Advantage, Marketplace, behavioral health, and other healthcare sectors. Maddie also completed internships focused on value-based care at Acumen, HIV policy at NASTAD, and Medicaid/ACA policy at the Georgetown Health Policy Institute. She graduated cum laude from Georgetown University with a B.S. in health care management and policy with a minor in theology.
