Katherine Brumund is an associate in Alston & Bird’s Litigation & Trial Practice Group. Katherine has experience managing many aspects of litigation, including preparing pretrial proceedings and motion practice, including drafting complaints and demand letters. She also has experience in trial preparation, including preparing and responding to written discovery, preparing subpoenas, and assisting with depositions.
Before joining the firm, Katherine served as a judicial intern for the Hon. Tanya S. Chutkan of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia and as a law clerk for the National Community Reinvestment Coalition.
While earning her J.D. from the Northeastern University School of Law, Katherine participated in the Northeastern University Law Review, the Real Estate Law Society, International Law Society, and the Immigrant Justice Clinic. She received her B.A., magna cum laude, in leadership; French; and politics, philosophy, economics, and law (PPEL).
