Alberto Bufalino focuses his practice on handling complex commercial litigation.
Before joining the firm, he gained significant experience at law firms and in-house legal departments. In law school, Alberto contributed to high-level appellate work including assisting UNC law professors with writing an amicus curiae brief to the U.S. Supreme Court. He also served as a legal extern to the Hon. Judge William L. Osteen Jr. of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of North Carolina, drafting judicial orders and analyzing complex civil and criminal motions.
While earning his J.D., Alberto contributed to legal scholarship as the symposium editor of the North Carolina Journal of Law & Technology and has been published in the University of Miami Race & Social Justice Law Review.
Alberto has a commitment to diversity in the legal profession as he was a member of the Hispanic and Latino Law Students Association at UNC. Alberto earned a B.A., magna cum laude, in politics and international affairs with a minor in history from Wake Forest University.
