• Represented a private equity firm in a $75 million revolving loan facility and $32.5 million term loan facility for the acquisition financing of a sprinkler and irrigation company.
• Represented a consulting firm in connection with the financing of a $63 million private equity investment. 
• Represented a private equity firm in a $430 million term loan facility and $150 million revolving loan facility for a data and communications services and consulting company. 
• Represented a national bank in a $50 million revolving loan facility for a food services company. 
• Represented a private equity firm in a $75 million revolving loan facility and $60 million term loan facility for the acquisition financing of an international textiles company. 
• Represented a private equity firm in a $20 million term loan facility and $12 million revolving loan facility for the acquisition financing of a trucking company.
• Represented a private equity firm in a $75 million revolving loan facility and $10 million equipment loan facility for an international automotive supply company.
• Represented a private equity firm in an $82 million term loan facility and $25 million revolving loan facility for the acquisition financing of a print and digital advertising company.

Akiba Chonoles is counsel with Alston & Bird’s Finance Group. He represents private equity funds, operating portfolio companies, commercial banks, and other financial institutions in various types of secured and unsecured financing transactions. He has participated in transactions such as acquisition financings, asset-based and cash-flow credit facilities, debt restructurings, working capital facilities, and Regulation 144A and Regulation S securities offerings. Before joining Alston & Bird, Akiba held in-house positions with an interactive entertainment company and a sports marketing and talent management company.

Akiba received his J.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law and his B.A. in psychology and social behavior and criminology, law, and society from the University of California, Irvine.
