• Represented major financial institutions as trustee, bond administrator, master servicer, and custodian in closing numerous public and private mortgage-backed and asset-backed securitization transactions.
• Represented major financial institutions in credit facilities backed by servicer advance receivables.
• Represented primary and special servicers in the purchase of servicing rights, servicing agreements, and transfers of servicing rights in mortgage-backed and asset-backed securitization transactions.
• Represented major financial institutions in various defeasance transactions, including commercial mortgage loans and asset-backed bonds.
• Represented major financial institutions involving the administration of previously closed mortgage-backed and asset-backed securitization transactions.

Lindsey Deere is a partner in the Finance Group. She advises major financial institutions on a wide variety of capital markets transactions, with a focus on structured finance and other debt offerings.

Lindsey represents major financial institutions in their trust and agency services in public and private securities offerings and has a varied transactional practice with a primary focus on securities backed by residential mortgage and personal loans and sponsor or majority-owned affiliate retained interests. The Best Lawyers in America^© recognized Lindsey on its “Ones to Watch” list in the area of Banking and Finance Law 2021–2024.

Before joining Alston & Bird, Lindsey served as in-house counsel for a mortgage servicing company. Lindsey served as an assistant special counsel to the North Carolina attorney general, advising on and implementing policy, legislative, and law enforcement objectives of the attorney general. Additionally, Lindsey was a law clerk for the Hon. Sanford L. Steelman in the North Carolina Court of Appeals.
