Katherine Donald is an associate with Alston & Bird’s Intellectual Property Litigation Group in the Atlanta office.
Katie received her J.D. from the University of North Carolina School of Law, with honors. During law school, Katie served as the web editor of the North Carolina Journal of Law and Technology. She received her B.S. in avian biology from the University of Georgia, graduating cum laude.
Before joining the firm, Katie gained experience as a law clerk for the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office where she assisted in drafting oppositions and prepping for preliminary hearings. She also was an in-house law clerk for RTI International where she researched the emerging implications of Section 101 in artificial intelligence.
