Mia Falzarano focuses her practice on complex business disputes, including class action defense, data privacy and cybersecurity matters, trade secret misappropriation and unfair competition cases, and other commercial and consumer disputes. While Mia supports her clients in all phases of litigation, from pre-trial mediation to post-trial appeals, she is developing a niche addressing matters on the merits, having already accumulated considerable trial experience in federal and state court.
Mia received her J.D., cum laude, from Wake Forest University School of Law. There, she was elected to the Order of the Coif and Order of Barristers and won national trial and moot court competitions, while serving as captain of the American Association for Justice Trial Team and the Wake Forest University School of Law National Moot Court Team. Mia also has a master’s degree in legal and forensic psychology. Before law school, Mia spent a year as a Fulbright Scholar teaching English in Turkey. Mia received her B.A., cum laude, from Hamilton College.
Mia uses her law degree to advocate for historically underrepresented causes and groups. She is equally committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives with her clients and the pro bono legal services she provides.
