• Representing insurance companies in civil litigation alleging aiding and abetting breach of fiduciary duty and unjust enrichment. (Del. Ch.).
• Represented a leading wireless service provider in commercial arbitration involving fraud, contract, and consumer protection claims arising out of multibillion-dollar merger. Obtained a defense award and award of attorneys’ fees following week-long hearing. (JAMS).
• Represented a major telecommunications company in civil action alleging fraud, conspiracy, franchise violations, and equitable claims. Obtained dismissal of all claims. (E.D.N.Y.).
• Represented a foreign bank in civil litigation alleging multibillion-dollar fraud and civil conspiracy. Obtained dismissal of all claims. (N.Y. Sup. Ct.).
• Represented a financial technology company, and its CEO and founders, in civil litigation alleging misappropriation of business idea, breach of contract, and breach of fiduciary duty. After completion of fact and expert discovery, the case settled on highly favorable terms. (S.D.N.Y.).
• Represented a digital media and financial education company, and its founder and CEO, in civil litigation alleging theft of trade secrets. Following mediation, the case settled on highly favorable terms. (S.D. Fla.).
• Represented a multibillion-dollar communications company in the prosecution of fraud claims associated with its $63 million acquisition of an independent software vendor, obtaining favorable settlement. (Del. Ch.).

Investigations and White Collar

• Represented a pharmaceutical company and senior executives in an investigation by the Securities and Exchange Commission concerning potential violations of the Exchange Act.
• Represented multiple media companies in investigations by the Securities and Exchange Commission concerning accounting practices.
• Represented witnesses in criminal investigations by the New York County District Attorney’s Office, New Jersey State attorney general’s Office, and Department of Justice.
• Represented brokers during investigations by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission.
• Conducted an internal investigation in response to whistleblower allegations of sexual misconduct by senior executives of a public company.

Gregg Fish focuses his practice on complex commercial disputes and high-stakes government investigations. He has represented clients across a variety of industries – particularly financial services, pharmaceuticals and health care, telecommunications, insurance, and media/entertainment – in state and federal courts, as well as arbitral forums, and through all stages of litigation, including trial. He also has significant experience representing both individuals and companies in connection with inquiries by the SEC, DOJ, and other federal, state, and local agencies. Gregg received his J.D., cum laude, from New York University. During law school, Gregg served as a judicial intern for Hon. Sidney H. Stein in the U.S. District Court, Southern District of New York, where he worked on a variety of civil and criminal matters.
