• Representing major financial institutions as trustee, certificate administrator, and custodian in closing numerous public and private commercial mortgage-backed and residential mortgage-backed securitization transactions.
• Representing major financial institutions as calculation agent, paying agent, and custodian in single-family rental, mortgage-loan warehousing, and other financing arrangements.
• Representing major financial institutions in closing numerous ABS transactions involving a variety of asset types, including data centers, credit card receivables, student loans, auto loans, solar loans and consumer loans.
• Advising major financial institutions in connection with annual and periodic filings with the SEC pursuant to the Securities Exchange Act of 1934.
• Represented a fintech company as loan data agent on a broad range of ABS and RMBS securitizations.

Trey Flaherty focuses his practice on mortgage-backed and asset-backed securitization.

Trey represents major financial institutions as trustee, paying agent, and in other service-provider functions across a broad range of asset types, including CMBS, SFR, RMBS, and ABS. Trey also has experience in advising major financial institutions regarding SEC regulatory compliance, with a particular focus on Reg AB reporting and compliance with the Securities Exchange Act of 1934. In addition, Trey has experience representing financial institutions as calculation agent, paying agent and custodian in connection with both lending facilities and repurchase facilities. Trey received his J.D. from Boston University School of Law, cum laude, in 2013 and his B.A. in economics from the University of North Carolina in 2009.
