J.W. “Trey” Flaherty focuses his practice on mortgage-backed and asset-backed securitizations and other financing and warehousing arrangements.

Trey represents major financial institutions as trustee, certificate and note administrator, custodian, paying agent, and in other service-provider functions across a broad range of asset types, including CMBS, SFR, ABS, and RMBS.

Trey also has experience in advising major financial institutions regarding SEC regulatory compliance, with a particular focus on Reg AB reporting and compliance with the Securities Exchange Act of 1934. Additionally, Trey has experience representing financial institutions as calculation agent, paying agent and custodian in connection with both lending facilities and repurchase facilities.
