• Represented the client in the $29.5 million development and disposition of an industrial project in Greensboro, NC.
• Represented the buyer in the acquisition of membership and partnership interests in various companies associated with five affordable housing multifamily properties.

Brittnay Franklin represents institutional and nonbank lenders, financial institutions and servicers in originating and servicing complex commercial real estate finance transactions. She counsels construction, bridge, conduit, CMBS, and CRE CLO lenders and servicers in the financing of a wide range of property types, including office, industrial, multifamily, self‑storage, retail, and mixed‑use projects.

Brittnay works closely with lenders on secured lending matters and advises borrowers on financings tied to acquisition, significant renovation, expansion, and upfit projects.

She holds a J.D., with honors, from The University of North Carolina School of Law, where she served as a publication editor for the North Carolina Law Review.

Brittnay has been recognized in Business North Carolina’s Legal Elite 2026 in the Real Estate category and as a North Carolina Super Lawyers Rising Star in the Real Estate category.
