Christina Anderson Garrett

• Representing global leading financial institutions as the trustee, collateral agent, collateral administrator, custodian, and paying agent in collateralized loan obligations, loan agency, municipal bond, corporate debt, and other structured finance transactions.
• Representing global leading financial institutions as an administrative agent and depository bank in lending facilities.
• Representing a global leading financial institution in the resignation and succession of its CLO portfolio.
• Representing global leading financial institutions as an intercreditor agent, administrative agent, and depository bank in domestic and cross-border project finance transactions.

Christina Garrett is a senior associate in the Finance Group. She focuses her practice on advising corporate trust service providers on structured finance transactions, primarily CLOs and other debt offerings. Christina represents major financial institutions in transactions that span the entire lifecycle of a transaction, including warehouse facilities, new issuances, interpretation of indentures and credit agreements, refinancings, redemptions, liquidations, and discharges.

Christina also has experience representing private equity sponsors and borrowers in domestic and cross-border secured lending and other financing transactions.

In 2019, Christina was selected as one of two participants to represent Alston & Bird in the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity Pathfinder Program.

Christina received her J.D., with honors, from The University of North Carolina School of Law, where she served as an editor for the North Carolina Journal of International Law. Before law school, Christina taught middle school in Charlotte as a Teach For America corps member. She received her B.A. in political science and history from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
