Brendan Gibson

• Represented a national bank, as the administrative agent and lender, in connection with the structuring and syndication of a $450 million senior secured revolving credit facility to provide working capital and finance the acquisition of music copyrights by a publicly traded independent music company.
• Represented a national bank, as the administrative agent and a lender, in connection with a $150 million syndicated senior secured revolving credit facility to a music company formed by a top-tier sponsor to finance the acquisition of music rights.
• Represented a national bank, as the administrative agent and a lender, in connection with a $250 million senior secured revolving credit facility to multiple Cayman SPV funds formed by one of the world’s largest asset managers to acquire music rights.
• Represented a national bank, as the administrative agent and a lender, in connection with a $320 million term loan B credit facility for a global payment processing company.
• Represented a regional bank as the lender in a $17 million bilateral secured term loan facility to a music asset manager fund.

Brendan Gibson is counsel with Alston & Bird’s Finance Group. He represents banks, direct lenders, other financial lending institutions, borrowers, and, sponsors in a variety of lending transactions, including cash-flow and asset-based lending. He has experience in a variety of industries, but focuses on middle market acquisition financings with market-leading experience in the entertainment space. Brendan received his J.D. from the University of Notre Dame Law School. While in law school, he was the executive managing editor for The Journal of College and University Law. He received a B.B.A. in finance and a B.S.Ed. in sport management from the University of Georgia.
