Esmat Hanano is an associate with Alston & Bird’s Litigation and Trial Practice Group. He focuses his practice on representing clients in commercial litigation.
Before joining the firm, Esmat served as a law clerk to the Hon. Veronica S. Rossman on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit, as well as to the Hon. Clifton L. Corker on the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee. Esmat also worked as a staff attorney at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
Esmat earned his J.D., magna cum laude, from Georgia State University College of Law and was inducted into the Order of the Coif. While attending the College of Law, Esmat also served as executive editor of the Georgia State University Law Review and was a member of the Georgia State Moot Court team. He received his B.A in philosophy from American University.
