Jonathan Hermann defends clients in class actions, mass arbitrations, and other complex commercial litigation. His practice spans an array of industries, with a focus on food and beverage labeling, health care, and business-to-business contract disputes. He has extensive experience in all phases of litigation, including management of discovery and document productions, working with experts, authoring dispositive motions, and serving on trial and arbitration teams. Clients value his experience litigating matters before federal, appellate, and state courts.
Before joining Alston & Bird, Jon was a litigation associate at a leading New York-based law firm. Prior to that, Jon served as a federal law clerk for the Hon. Paul J. Kelly, Jr. of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit, and the Hon. Eric N. Vitaliano of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York. Jon earned his J.D., magna cum laude, from Fordham University School of Law, where he was inducted into the Order of the Coif. While at Fordham, Jon participated in the Federal Litigation Clinic and served as a senior articles editor of the Fordham Law Review, an executive senator of the Student Bar Association, and on Fordham Moot Court.
