Casey Hickey is a registered patent agent with an extensive background in chemistry. Casey’s experience includes the preparation and prosecution of patent applications, both domestically and internationally, for large tech clients within software and wireless telecommunication industries and also for pharmaceutical and university clients with their portfolios covering small molecule active agents and photochemistry. She also analyzes patentability and standard essentiality for clients.

Before starting her career as a patent agent, Casey earned her Ph.D. in chemistry, and was awarded a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship. Casey’s research focused on characterizing excited state properties of disordered semiconductors.
