Nathaniel Hill focuses his practice on intellectual property litigation. He first began supporting Alston & Bird’s Intellectual Property Group as a summer associate where he conducted legal research on issues related to patent validity and infringement.
Before joining the firm, Nate also worked as a summer law clerk at a boutique IP firm supporting patent prosecution matters. In this role, he drafted patent applications and responses to office actions, giving him insight into patent claims and prosecution history issues that may arise in litigation.
During law school, Nate also evaluated intellectual property developed through university research and worked directly with inventors and technology transfer professionals. Nate earned his J.D. from the Emory University School of Law after receiving a B.S. in mechanical engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
