Kate Kirkpatrick focuses her practice on intellectual property litigation. Before joining the firm full time, she served as a summer associate supporting the Intellectual Property Litigation Team with legal research, patent claims analysis, and litigation strategy.
Kate earned her J.D. from Vanderbilt University where she was a member of the Vanderbilt Law Review and the Intellectual Property Association. She also served as a student attorney in the Intellectual Property & the Arts Clinic, where she represented and counseled small businesses and organizations in a number of IP matters. She received her B.S. in biology and environmental science.
