John Evan Laughter focuses his practice on handling complex commercial litigation matters, including financial services and class action cases. Before joining the firm, John Evan served as a judicial intern to the Hon. Charles J. Bethel with the Supreme Court of Georgia, where he assisted in briefing cases and conducted legal research. Before law school, John Evan served in the office of multiple public officials at the federal and state level.
John Evan earned his J.D., summa cum laude, from Georgia State University College of Law, where he served as symposium editor for the GSU Law Review, competed with the Georgia State Moot Court Team, and served as a research assistant. He also was elected to membership in the Order of the Coif and Order of Barristers. John Evan received his B.B.A. in economics from the University of Georgia.
