Lucy Martin focuses her practice on handling commercial litigation matters. Before joining the firm, Lucy served as a judicial intern to the Hon. Craig Iscoe at the Superior Court for the District of Columbia where she drafted orders and bench memoranda in complex post-conviction matters. She also gained valuable experience as a legal intern at the Washington Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights and Urban Affairs, and before attending law school, Lucy was a litigation paralegal at Alston & Bird.
While earning her J.D., cum laude, from American University Washington College of Law, Lucy was a staffer on the American University Law Review and a student attorney in the Decarceration & Re-Entry Clinic. Lucy received her B.A. in history, with a minor in law & society, from Cornell University.
