Sam Masters represents corporate borrowers, sponsors, banks, portfolio companies, and alternative capital sources in transactional debt financing matters.
Before joining Alston & Bird, Sam gained experience as a commercial finance associate, representing banks and financial institutions in a variety of commercial lending transactions. Her previous experience with regional and national banks included syndicated and single-lender transactions, with a focus on asset-based loans.
Sam earned her J.D., cum laude, from the Georgia State University College of Law. While in law school, she served as president of the Moot Court competition team and associate research editor of the Georgia State University Law Review.
