August “Gus” Meny is an intellectual property litigator with experience in district court, ITC, and PTAB proceedings. He has represented clients in the life sciences and telecommunications industries and has conducted pro bono work in veterans’ benefits and child custody and support. Before joining the firm, he gained valuable experience researching issues of civil procedure and helping with data management for the Center on Civil Justice at New York University School of Law. He also previously served as a consumer and governmental affairs bureau intern at the Federal Communications Commission.
While earning his J.D. from New York University, he served on the Moot Court board as a competitor and later coach at the Duberstein Bankruptcy Competition. He also received the school’s Vanderbilt Medal for service to the law school community. Gus earned his bachelor’s degree in public policy from Duke University where he served as a writing consultant and member of the debate team.
