Samuel Patterson supports patent filing and prosecution for innovators developing technologies in avionics systems, flight control architectures, telemetry and sensor integration platforms, and mission critical embedded electronics. His experience includes contributing to U.S. patent applications and international patent applications filed under the Patent Cooperation Treaty, involving aerospace control systems, embedded firmware architectures for mission critical platforms, firearms technology innovations, and medical and dental instrumentation systems.

Samuel also draws on his technical background designing flight computer architectures, telemetry systems, and sensor‑integrated avionics for a NASA student launch team, along with hands‑on work involving microcontrollers, radio frequency telemetry, and data acquisition systems.

Before entering patent practice, Samuel gained practical engineering experience in marine and aircraft maintenance, and his aerospace engineering degree further grounds his understanding of mechanical and electronic system operations. He applies this technical foundation to support the development of strong patent applications and prosecution strategies across a range of emerging technologies.
