- Representing a leading health care insurer in a complex contract dispute with a health care provider regarding the adjudication of claims and reimbursement rates.
- Defended a Fortune 500 airline in a multiphase breach of contract jury trial in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia. Obtained a favorable settlement following the first phase of the jury trial.
- Obtained a complete defense verdict and a favorable verdict on the client’s counterclaims for a private equity fund and a national student housing company after a week-long jury trial, in which the client’s entire $85 million investment in a real estate joint venture was at stake.
- Defeated multiple motions for preliminary injunction for a Fortune 500 payment processing company, arising out of alleged breaches of contract and business torts after multiday, expedited evidentiary hearings.
- Negotiated a favorable settlement for a leading health care insurer in arbitration against a health care provider for a breach of contract to recover overpayments to the provider, after obtaining complete dismissal of the health care provider’s counterclaims.
- Secured the appointment of a receiver to take over management of a California-based media company after a multiday evidentiary hearing in a case involving allegations of breaches of contract, fraud, and RICO.
- Negotiated a favorable settlement for a Fortune 500 fintech company in a dispute with the seller regarding breaches of representations and warranties in a merger agreement.
