Chandler McCrary Ray

• Defended a national automobile insurance company against a multimillion-dollar suit under Georgia law, winning a motion to enforce settlement and subsequent appeal to the Court of Appeals of Georgia.
• Represented a worldwide pesticide manufacturer for post-trial motions in a Georgia trial court following a massive punitive damages award at trial, helping secure a favorable settlement with reduced damages in advance of an appeal.
• Defending a private equity firm in federal litigation brought by global medical device manufacturers alleging fraud and RICO claims arising from the firm’s investment in a health care technology company.
• Defending a national automobile insurance company in a complex policyholder class action.
• Representing a major health care  company in an arbitration involving complicated questions regarding contractual disputes.
• Defending a temperature-controlled logistics company in multiple putative class actions arising out of cybersecurity incidents allegedly involving personally identifiable information of the company’s employees.
• Representing a new economy technology company relating to a complex commercial dispute with a bitcoin mining equipment company.

Chandler McCrary Ray represents clients across a wide range of industries in high-stakes commercial litigation, including complex business disputes and class actions. He has advised companies in the health care , insurance, financial services, and technology sectors on navigating multifaceted litigation challenges. Chandler also frequently represents clients on appeals brought in front of the Supreme Court of Georgia and the Court of Appeals of Georgia.

Before joining the firm, Chandler served as a law clerk to the Hon. Elizabeth L. Branch of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit and to the Hon. Michael P. Boggs of the Supreme Court of Georgia.
