Gabbi Schust Martel focuses her practice on handling commercial litigation matters. During law school, she interned with the North Carolina Supreme Court, where she conducted legal research and drafted memoranda for the Hon. Trey Allen and Hon. Allison Riggs. She also worked with a nonprofit health care and education provider, analyzing legislation and regulatory guidelines across multiple states.
Gabbi received her J.D. from The University of North Carolina School of Law, with high honors, where she served as comments editor for the North Carolina Law Review, held leadership roles in several student organizations, and completed over 200 hours of pro bono service.
She also holds an M.P.H. in global health, with honors, from the UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health and a B.A. in international studies and Spanish from the University of Mississippi, summa cum laude, where she was awarded the Taylor Medal for exceptional scholarship and academic achievement. Before attending law school, Gabbi worked in public health research and managed scientific grant programs.
