Daniel Seabolt is a member of Alston & Bird’s nationally recognized Construction & Government Contracts practice, where he represents local, national, and multinational general contractors, developers, and owners engaged in sophisticated commercial projects. Daniel’s practice spans an array of sectors, including large-scale infrastructure such as subways and bridges, advanced electronic tolling systems, manufacturing and processing facilities, oil and gas pipelines, renewable energy installations—including solar photovoltaic and battery energy storage systems—and mixed-use, multifamily developments.
Daniel handles covers all phases of the construction project lifecycle. He regularly advises clients on contract negotiation and drafting, project risk management, and ongoing project counseling. He is adept at resolving complex disputes, both through negotiation and litigation, and has handled claims involving defective design and construction, project delays and time-impact issues, extra work and change orders, wrongful terminations, cumulative impact and early completion claims, and mechanics lien enforcement and defense.
Daniel also maintains an active commercial and environmental litigation practice. He has represented clients in a wide range of business disputes, including environmental permitting challenges for energy infrastructure, fraud, negligence, unfair competition, tortious interference, claims under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), intellectual property disputes involving trademark and copyright infringement, real property litigation, and other complex business torts.
