Represented a leading gypsum wallboard manufacturer in a high-stakes dispute concerning maintenance and repair obligations under a 99-year ground lease for a Long Beach, CA waterfront property and its seawall.
Represented a global manufacturer of glass, automotive, and building products in an indemnity dispute involving alleged product defects in materials supplied for a mixed-use commercial development and claims involving multiple subcontractors.
Represented a manufacturer of vehicular traffic coating systems in defending claims asserted by a property owner with whom the manufacturer had no direct contractual relationship.
Represented a provider of procurement and supply chain logistics services in litigation against its customer arising from nonpayment and conversion of goods.

Public Contracts

Obtained, as part of a negotiated settlement, a new multiyear contract worth several hundred million dollars annually for a client participating in a statewide procurement program administered by the California Department of Health Care Services.

Represented a multinational technology company in a wrongful death and survivorship action involving allegations of defective product manufacturing.
Representing a client in the oil and gas industry in litigation against a government agency seeking writ relief, declaratory relief, and inverse condemnation damages arising from the issuance of cease-and-desist orders, notices of violation, and administrative penalties.
