Reade Seligmann is a senior associate in the New York office and a member of Alston & Bird’s Litigation & Trial Practice Group. He focuses his practice on general commercial litigation.
Reade has experience representing clients in a broad range of commercial disputes, including litigation involving breach of contract, restrictive covenants, trade secrets, insurance coverage and construction. Before joining Alston & Bird, Reade was a law clerk to the Honorable Joel Schneider and an intern to the Honorable Dennis M. Cavanaugh (Ret.) and Honorable Joseph A. Dickson in the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey.
Reade earned his J.D. in 2013 from Emory University School of Law, where he received the Dean’s Award for Academic Excellence in Media Law and the G. Conley Ingram Scholarship. He earned his B.A. with a double major in history and public policy from Brown University, where he was the recipient of the Frederick Lippitt Prize for Public Service.
Reade is also an active member of the Innocence Project’s Young Professionals Committee and was honored with the organization’s Advocate for Justice Award.
